Earth Hour tomorrow! - Switch Off the Lights!!
Please play your part by switching off and unplugging any computers, monitors, phone chargers, speakers, or any other electrical item at your desk, before leaving work. If you want to participate at home, you can switch off and unplug electrical items such as toasters, kettles, lamps, phone chargers, clocks, stereos, TV’s, DVD and video players. [Earth Hour organisers say that it's important that anything that is switched off is also unplugged as the device can still draw power if kept plugged in.] Go to www.earthhour.org if you want more information.
Let's make ALL BLACK!

Pete,
I work for a US based non-profit that acts as a somewhat unique (if that is possible) manner to collect funds for various international non-profit projects around the world. Please check out our website to better explain.
It is called Alternative Gifts International.
I found your article on how much the people around the world spend on food on another blog as I was blog browsing (a new skill/habit/hobby I've recently acquired--thanks to my daughter & granddaughter who moved 800 miles away in late December).
In summary: I would like your permission to use the blog article about the families food expenditures as a part of of our website, or add a link.
Please let me know if you are the author, or how I might arrange to share it with our donors and web visitors.
