Wow, who would ever have thought that you would be able to buy a single 1TB drive. That is one huge amount of storage. I might wait for it to come down in price though.

The only problem is once you buy one you really need a 2nd to back it up. That's a *lot* of valuable data to lose!

Well... if using with a NAS at RAID-5, you won't have much to worry... at least it is relatively easy to rebuild the drive using parity.

Just ordered a 6 port RAID-50 controller for a customer (with puny 400GB drives).

1x (2 x (3 x 1TB as RAID-5) as RAID-0) = a pretty nice fast big desktop RAID 50 setup...
