I have been quite loyal to Telecom for a long time, I even worked for them for 5.5 years. Oh well, they made me redundant (such a horrible word).
Redundant: Dismissed or laid off from work, as for being no longer needed.
Back at ya then. My 'Go Nowhere Fast' broadband connection is now obsolete
Obsolete: Outmoded in design, style, or construction
Even writing this blog makes me feel a little like Judas Iscariot - no 25 pieces of silver here though just the promise of up to 25Mbps of pure broadband enjoyment.
[Footnote]: I do want to thank Telecom for the letter that arrived in Saturday advising that my data allowance piddle will go from 1GB to 3GB per month from July for no Xtra charge.

WOW!!! I'm shocked
Next thing you'll be ditching your landline and using VoIP. Shock! Horror! what is the world coming to?
No other provider can argue with 25Mbps though. If it came past my door, I'd sure as hell be hooked up to it

YAY! Welcome to the true broadband age Jama!!! :-D

Make sure you make the move to VoIP at the same time. There's no need to stick with prehistoric POTS equipment any longer.

Lucky man... 25M. Well, doesn't make up for the redundancy but still, something to smile about.

My dear Gary
We would be most happy to invite you into the collective. Your uniqueness will add to our our happy little world....
Just be sure you're not served off node W31....
And the 25mbps cable - and 2mbps up with average latency of 30ms let's not forget - is a reality, as the Ops Director confirmed a few days ago....

Antonio, I didn't realise Borg and TCL are so alike! Resistance is futile!

Perhaps TCL can borrow some of Telstras 'killer instinct', they appear to have lots of it in excess over there if you know what I mean.
