Rakon parts in US nukes?

By Gary R, in , posted: 30-May-2006 08:04

Here we go again. Rakon the recent darling of the sharemarket and a shining example of the kiwi can do attitude is now in hot water over supposedly shipping quartz crystals for use in Nukes.

Again this is just another example of the Labour party and its apparent policy of business bashing. What is the big deal? Our cousins across the Tasman export Uranium and we all know what that can be used for. NZ exports lamb to the Arab states, shock, horror, our lamb might be eaten by terrorists!

Earnest Rutherford is a hero in New Zealand and he was the first person to propose the concept of Nuclear Fission by 'splitting the atom'. I think its time for a coordinated Earnest Rutherford book burning, we should all storm his old lab in Christchurch and trash all his equipment as well. Any reference to Earnest should be removed from history books and we should never again mention his name.

Does NZ really want to be a part of the 'knowledge Economy'? I am starting to wonder. Or maybe that is a 'knowledge economy' as long as it conforms to the ideologies of the Labour 'thought police'.

If I was Rakon I would pack up and leave for Australia! They would pay less tax, enjoy better weather and I am sure the Aussie government would be proud of the Rakon contribution to the US smart bomb program.

What's ironic about the whole "exclusive expose" was that the whole story was covered by The Herald last August in a 2 part story. They are obviously completely oblivious to this and have written a piece of trash that seems to be sponsored by The Greens. The stories last August were also factually correct and several parts of this story contridict claims made in this latest story.

There's quite a lot about Rakon in fact... Rakon 1 Rakon 2

Good on the company this Nuke free is going over board to PC and a nuke powered warship in NZ waters would not bother me.

Before any one says it - I know it is the Greens complaining. Because it was Labour who let them through the door I tar the lot of them with the same Labour brush.

Yes we all love the terrorist cowards who murdered an old man of the brave and just Rainbow Warror.

Yes run and hide in Fascist Australia.

Run and hide, but do so fast.

The cowards at Rakon who are criminals who put depleted uranium in woman and children deserve the save lack of mercy rendered to their victims.

You missed Nazi Germany where you would have no doubt flourish, the 4th reich awaits you...

Run, run and hide.
