The recent find of a severed human foot on Himitangi Beach and the mutilated corpse of Tony Stanlake found in Owhiro Bay were the subject of a Garrick Tremain cartoon in yesterdays edition of the Dom Post.
I am afraid that even with my broad sense of humour I did not find this cartoon funny. In fact I found it to be quite distasteful. I feel sorry that the family of Mr Stanlake had to be subjected to this.
What do you think?

Oh oh... well, it's not in good taste, but I find it funny. I'm not a scion of good taste though :) Wasn't Stanlake involved in gang crime though?

Very bad taste, but of course it is not any kind of hate etc... so.... Garrick Tremain, "I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.".
