Anyone still buy/sell at trademe?

I'm just wondering if anyone here still actively buying/selling at trademe. I get the impression that there isn't much of a good deal at trademe these days.

Hmmm? There a a few million unique users on Trade Me every month, with over a billion page views. There are lots of things there - perhaps not the things you want, sure...

Lots of hits, yes, but bought/sold? I still check trademe now and then, but I tend to buy from DSE or Warehouse these days.

My wife buys jellery making stuff all the time. I just brought a modded PSP last week. I have also sold a TV and a UMPC in the last few months.

the prices on ebay have been much better up until a few days ago. they probably still are, just not as good.

I use it only when the "going is good" for example when I want to sell stuff to a large watching audience. it's often good for spotting really hard to obtain items and "Stuff you would not find in shops" like xbox and modded PS parts as stated above (I need to get me a modchip) As for ethics, I'd prefer to throw my success fee's elsewhere.

I still use TradeMe from time to time, especially when recycling my kids PS2/PSP games.

I am about to list a property, so we will see how that goes - unless anyone wants to buy 7.5acres of bush on the West Coast of the South Island??!?
