There are too many marketing people in TCNZ - not enough technical people:-) examples; go-large fiasco, "unleashed"You could think they are trying to ruin the LL before unbundling ;-) More effort should be put into getting a proper broadband speed (2Mbps download) to as many NZrs as possible ( (read the entire post)...

I've been thinking about a new project to get Freeview over wifi
I only have a Sat dish on the roof - no UHF/VHF aerial
I could use a DVB-S external box (Twinhan) http://www.twinhan.com/product_AD-SB200.asp

I tried some throughput speedtests on my wifi network at home
These tests are from a DLINK 604t to a dell laptop D620 (intel WLAN)
from about 5m away n the same room
b ONLY = 48% OF 11Mbps = 5.28Mbps b+ = 48% OF 11Mbps = 5.28Mbps mixed = 29% of 36Mbps = 10.44Mbps g only (read the entire post)...

Well I worked out a way to stream audio & video files from my PC to my smartphone SP5.
something I've been trying to work out for ages.
I installed IIS & shared my files as "HTTP browsable" on my wifi network
The SP5 can only browse HTTP not SMB/CIFS
