Nokia Nseries

In any commercial, the main attraction of the commercial may not be the product itself, but the tune they used in the commercial.

Looking at Nokia's Nseries commercials, they chose to use Moby's In My Heart which I think is a great choice. That tune instantly grabs my attention and also got me hooked to the music and the products they are selling.

The latest Nseries commercial I have seen is the N93, which this guy was bored in the hotel room. He decided to take his N93 and film a short movie clip. He sat his N93 in a glass, pointing towards the shut maroon curtain, use the cane laundry basket as a prop, realign the lamp as his light source and shoot.

Then later, he transferred the movie clip onto his laptop, fire up Adobe Premier Elements 2.0 and start editting. Lastly, he sent the movie clip away in email.

On the other side of the world, (I presumed) his fiance or girlfriend open the attachment, and the movie clip plays in full, with the maroon backdrop removed and replaced with a dusk/sunset view of Paris, he did a bit of acting of waving hand, and walked towards the camera. "The end".

Throughout the commercial, the features and highlights of the phone N93, and the software and capabilities are shown as blurbs. Subtle yet effective.

Well done Nokia, great commercial!
