As Geekzone 2006 is drawing very near (tomorrow) and due to other commitment and priority at home, I was unable to attend Geekzone 2006 and to see other fellow GZers. However, I had a great surprise to you guys!
I HAVE BEEN TO THE GEEKZONE 2006! Well not in actual flesh and bones, but in thoughts and mind. You see, I dreamt of me making a real surprise, last minute "pop up" at Geekzone 2006. And not to take the centre stage away from Mauricio as he is doing his "Steve Jobs" appearance, all eyes were at me when I dashed into the hall!
Okay, it didn't quite happened like that (in my dream) but I feel so gutted and envious for not able to be there with among you folks. However, I have a gut feeling that, and a strong one too that you all will enjoy this. Geekzone conference was the talk of post-first Geekzone meet up in 2005. I still can remember the people that were there and the crowd, all hiding in the back of this bar (what's the name?) and talk geek and gadgets.
Geekzone 2006 will be setting the next benchmark, and it will get better as we head into tomorrow (literally). I am already looking for to Geekzone 2007 and will definitely make my appearance then (if not sooner)!
Oh! Flashback to my dream, just like the guy in the Xtra's commercial, I dreamt that I got my TabletKiosk eo i7210 to "show off" when on Geekzone 2006. Awesome eh! Thought that got me a bit intrigued... how the hell did I make the order on Thursday night, and the good arrived before Saturday for my big show off? Hmmm...
I must get more sleep from the look of this...

Last year we met at the Last Supper Club... It was an informal gathering, no speakers, just a geek meetup - with peple coming from all over New Zealand nonetheless. It was because of this that we decided to make Geekzone 2006 a "mini conference". Let's see how it goes, and start planning Geekzone 2007.
