Continue from the previous "gadget talk
"... in this blog, I'm going to show you all what other gadgets we have at home.
We have a 32" Philips LCD with Ambilight2 and PixelPlus2, mounted on the wall and is great! Connected to our TelstraClear Digital TV Decoder, which feeds signals through to LCD TV And WMC on RCA, and also RF out for Free-To-Air channels. With this method, we don't use any Terrestrial Aerial at all. Signals are clearer on normal RF Channels, not that we use the normal channels for viewing at all.
We also have a JoyTech A/V Control Centre for switching A/V inputs from PS2 and Xbox to LCD TV.
A Sony home theatre unit which is an interim solution for now, until we get Xbox360 and Logitech 5.1 surround sound speakers 5450.
Among other gadgets, we have a Brother laser printer, and an HP All-in-One printer/copier/scanner inkjet printer. The plan for these two units is to replace them with a Colour Laser Multifuctional, one in mind is the Epson's CX11FN.
We also plan to add another digital decoder for my mother, to replace her current Sky-WTV unit, where she paid premium for just WTC channels and no Sky Basic. And possibly another two analogue decoders for dining room TV and lounge TV.
All those are plan for future, possibly 6-9 months later.
