Continue from my previous rant about grammatic error in a sentence, a mainstream news media fell shamelessly into this trap of unprofessional journalism.

[Update] "You're" or "Your"?!

I get quite peeved when a sentence doesn't make much sense all because of single misuse of a word.

For example, have a hunt around on this company's site and look for a sentence/word that just doesn't fit well in its context at all... (hint: check out the city/region)

Isn't this embarrassing for a big public company like them?

p/s: I don't claim that I don't make any mistakes (spelling or grammatic mistakes). However, I do expect big company to double or ev (read the entire post)...

TCL LightSpeed 40GB at <4.5Mbit downstream

, posted: 25-Nov-2006 14:06

Just earlier this week, I decided to upgrade my TelstraClear cable internet from HighSpeed 20GB which has 4Mbits downstream/2Mbits upstream speed. However, the day after the request when the plan should be LightSpeed 40GB with 10Mbits downstream/2Mbits upstream, my speed immediately dropped to 2Mbits/2Mbits. Got the email confirmation, and checked the items and the address, sweet all correct.

Waited...

And waited...

And more waiting...

Then got a phone call from the delivery guy from Shirley suburb... th (read the entire post)...

Sorry, you're a residential customer

If you have follow my earlier blog post, you will know that my Vodafone/Novatel Merlin U630 has decided to crap itself out over the weekend while I was up in Wellington.

I have talked to Johnr and also been on the phone with Vodafone/TelstraClear customer call centre and somehow I still feel that I'm heading no where with the issue. (Not Johnr's fault)...

Although Johnr has gone out of his way to suggest and tried to help as much as he can, and we both concluded tha (read the entire post)...

Not Yellow Label...

Right...

I went to The Warehouse (the New Zealand popular discount superstore like Walmart in US) with my mother, just thought have a nosey to see what's on special and things like that.

Anyhow, I saw two jackets that I like to get, dirt cheap. Reckon that it is alright for "Buy one get one free" special that The Warehouse has at the moment.

But of course... only one of the two jackets is eligible for that, as it has yellow label on it. It is also the cheaper (read the entire post)...
