Fly for $39 with Pacific Blue...

Just read this from Stuff, looks like the special promotion sale for Pacific Blue is very very competitive against Air NZ, at $39 each way. Though Pacific Blue will be flying the main trunk (AKL-WGN, AKL-CHC and WGN-CHC) for now...
Definitely is a good time to fly for a visit, perhaps should the Geekzone 07 be held around November then? :-D (read the entire post)...

Just over the weekend, I went to the first-time-ever in Christchurch Armageddon 2007 event. Those that in Auckland or in the circle might already know what this is. For those others, this is an event that should not be missed by any Sci-Fi/Comics/Manga fans. Check out http://www.pulpexpo.com/.

At Copthorne Plimmer Towers, they provide internet access for $33.95 for 24 hours period (max, or $0.68 per minute). Which gives you 50MB traffic access, and in excess of 50MB, it is $0.10 per 1MB in the 24 hours period.
I have gone through our first 24 hours and probably used 60MB in total. All this because my VMC is not working as intended...
