Looks like TelstraClear has just launched the new website look.
Nice new top navigation, though everything else seem similar. Not a huge change but surely is a very nice welcome change. (read the entire post)...

Not Yellow Label...

Right...
I went to The Warehouse (the New Zealand popular discount superstore like Walmart in US) with my mother, just thought have a nosey to see what's on special and things like that.
Anyhow, I saw two jackets that I like to get, dirt cheap. Reckon that it is alright for "Buy one get one free" special that The Warehouse has at the moment.
But of course... only one of the two jackets is eligible for that, as it has yellow label on it. It is also the cheaper (read the entire post)...

Press to power off
Annoyance, posted: 23-Jul-2006 10:04
Bugger! Two nights ago, when I was done with using our less-than-1-year-old HP MCE system, which has a 21" HP f2105 LCD screen. Naturally, I would just turn off the monitor power to save power (beside the amber colour light when on stand-by is annoying and bright in the dark).
As you would with turning power off, you push the power button. Tonight, I exert the same amount of strength on the power button as any other night. The most feared thing had happened, THE POWER SWITCH IS BROKEN (read the entire post)...

Okay... so I haven't quite got the Sony VGN-UX17GP yet... but from what Mauricio and Taniwha has shown in their blog, I would like to get myself one of that!
I am a little disappointed with the model offered here in NZ though, the spec isn't that flash however having include the PCMCIA slot is a great bonus for me. As I have a Vodafone UMTS card and I would like to keep using that and eventually upgrade/get HSDPA while still using my 1GB for $49. None of the UMPC is offering P (read the entire post)...

Custom CSS design (trialling)
Blog Update, posted: 22-Jul-2006 01:54
Okay... I've been studying the Geekzone Blog HTML structure and its CSS corresponding selectors the whole night, and tweaked the design and properties over and over... Then finally got a sample CSS for use for my blog at this stage.
As I study more and understand the Geekzone Blog HTML structure, I will then be creating custom CSS for use on Geekzone Blog, anyone are welcome to use them. Looking forward to get some CSS template out. :-) (read the entire post)...

The existence of my blog...

Okay, took me a very l-o-n-g time to start using my Geekzone Blog.
First off, I must say, I'm not a big blogger myself - (Why I start a blog you asked?) - I have seen some other fellow GZers' blog and their custom CSS looks good, and since I'm very into CSS design, and decided to offer a CSS design/makeover for any GZer who are using GZ Blog.
The first CSS makeover will be my own blog. And from here onward... I will offer GZ CSS templates for other to use if the (read the entire post)...
