Gen-i hosts Jade Software’s new mobile banking solution

Jade Software has chosen a Gen-i cloud environment to host its latest mobile banking application solution.
Jade Software’s JOOB mobile banking solution enables financial institutions to develop and deploy mobile banking applications faster, affordably and more securely.
It is being hosted on Gen-i’s ReadyCloud Server infrastructure-as-a-service environment, which offers a secure, reliable and scalable hosted platform.
JOOB helps businesses innovate by designing and mobilising customer experiences. Its mobile banking solution enables financial institutions to meet increased customer demand for secure mobile banking, whilst providing all the features to make managing money on-the-go easy.
The explosion of smart devices means financial institutions need to focus on enhancing mobile banking experiences to attract and retain customers, says Herman Rooseboom, Jade Software’s Director of JOOB Strategy and Partners.
“Research shows that 42% of tablet and 39% of smartphone owners now use these devices for everyday banking,” says Rooseboom.

In addition, with applications hosted by Gen-i, JOOB clients have access to Gen-i’s help desk for technical support and monitoring services for added security and reliability.
