Wellington to host second WordCamp in May 2014
Posted on 10-Mar-2014 19:14. | Tags Filed under: News.

WordPress users in and around Wellington, the Hutt, Porirua, Kapiti are invited to attend WordCamp Wellington 2014, an event happening on the 10-11th May at the Sustainability Trust.

The first day will have sessions covering topics such as licensing, monetisation and intranets. The second day will be dedicated to development labs.

The organisers say this year there will be some emphasis on ecommerce for WordPress, seeing many New Zealand businesses use WordPress for online publishing without realising the platform can power their online transactions as well.

This year the event will have special keynote guests Gary Pendergast from Automattic and Dan Milward, a plug-in developer.
