MYOB extends SME cloud accounting solutions with AccountRight Premier
Posted on 3-Jun-2014 13:18. | Tags Filed under: News.

Accounting software provider MYOB has announced AccountRight Premier is now available in the cloud. It’s a powerful and flexible online accounting solution for mid-sized, established businesses with complex accounting needs including inventory.

Formerly available as a desktop-only solution, AccountRight Premier provides the best of both worlds, allowing business owners and managers to work offline, online or both. This enables increased collaboration across their business and with their accountant or bookkeeper, creating a more value-rich partnership.

MYOB General Manager, Business Division, James Scollay says this is a highly anticipated release as it extends the technology company’s trusted range of cloud-based business solutions.

“As online tools and cloud computing become increasingly part of doing business, it’s important that businesses continue to embrace these technologies. Our years of conducting SME research shows us there is a strong correlation between solid business performance and online technology usage. For example, those who use cloud computing are 30% more likely to increase their revenue. We know online technologies can help many businesses become better connected, more productive and more competitive.”

MYOB AccountRight Premier is ideal for larger, established businesses – particularly those who work with the intricacies of separate administration teams, and those who require complex stock management. It’s highly-suited to inventory-based industries, such as manufacturing and wholesaling.

“AccountRight is New Zealand’s most popular accounting software range, and the most feature-rich online accounting solution for small businesses. AccountRight Premier offers mid-sized businesses a smarter way to manage multiple company accounts, inventory and payroll, as it combines the benefits of speed and increased functionality with the flexibility of working anywhere in real-time.

“A key advantage is there are no limits on the number of users, transactions or employees - and at no extra cost. This makes it ideal for larger businesses with multiple team members and advisors working on the accounts in real-time,” says Mr Scollay.

In addition, AccountRight Premier includes the ability to link bank accounts securely to the solution where bank transactions are automatically imported and coded into the software – a feature that can save 10 hours a month on average.

"The beauty of an online platform is its ability to allow us to be more responsive – we are continually listening to feedback and looking at how we can integrate greater usability and functionality into each release.

“We’ll continue to deliver continuous updates and enhancements to the online version of AccountRight Premier, such as multi-currency, which will be available in late 2014,” says Mr Scollay.

The price for AccountRight Premier is $79 inc. GST per month, with a 12-month minimum term.
