SAP Australia and New Zealand today announced the appointment of Keir Garrett as Head of SAP Cloud Solutions for New Zealand. The strategic appointment is aimed at supporting SAP’s cloud strategy by strengthening its focus on cloud solutions in the country.

Based in Auckland, Garrett is responsible for the go-to-market and sales delivery of the SAP Cloud solutions portfolio, covering all customer and financial line-of-business solutions, excluding human capital management and supplier solutions.

Garrett joins SAP with more than 15 years’ experience in executive sales, including Lawson Software and most recently as sales director at enterprise software solutions provider Infor. With a background in accounting and IT, Garrett has a proven track record in sales and business management within ERP, Human Capital Management and Payroll, as well as in developing channels and verticals into highly successful markets.

“Discussions around cloud in New Zealand have moved swiftly from defining the technology to its wide adoption,” Garrett says. “SAP and its partners are fully enabled with the deepest cloud portfolio in the industry to facilitate this adoption and deliver the flexibility, scalability and cost-effectiveness New Zealand businesses and government agencies need to better serve their customers and citizens.”

Together with other SAP cloud executives, Garrett will be hosting the launch of SAP’s entire set of cloud solutions. The portfolio will be introduced to New Zealand at customer events in Auckland on 23 July and Wellington on 26 July.

SAP today offers a comprehensive portfolio of cloud applications, with over 29 million users in the cloud globally, along with experience with the world’s largest cloud implementations and an unparalleled user experience. The solutions reflect SAP’s industry expertise from more than 238,000 SAP customers in 191 countries across 25 industries.
