Clickatell to Host SMS workshop during the 2004 3GSM World Congress

Clickatell has been invited to host a workshop at the largest GSM event in the world, the 3GSM World Congress (being held in Cannes, 23 to 25 February 2004).

Clickatell's SMS workshop is aimed attract developers, programmers and industry players from around the globe, and promises to provide a comprehensive overview of the latest SMS technologies, integration with Clickatell's carrier-grade SMS gateway through multiple protocols, technical features of SMS and the future of the mobile messaging industry in general.

The workshop will be presented by Clickatell's team, including one of the founding members of Clickatell, Pieter de Villiers, SMS futurist Gary Cousins and consultant Forrest Holleman.

"This is a unique one-stop learning opportunity for anyone in the industry," says Pieter de Villiers, Director of Clickatell, "as Clickatell's SMS Application Developer Zone will give attendees all the tools, insight and information they will need to conceive, build and integrate a mobile messaging application, with the ability to send text messages to over 550 mobile networks in 163 countries.
