Posted on 19-MAR-2004 07:24. | Tags Filed under: News.

Bluetake is showing some advanced Bluetooth audio devices during the CeBIT 2004 in Hannover. The HiPhono is a Bluetooth Hi-Fi Audio Station that allows wire replacement for speakers in a home-theater system. The company says it can achieve a range between 20m and 30m, allows for two channels input and have an aluminium finish. A Home Phone Gateway is part of this series. The BT480 Bluetooth Home Phone Gateway allows the user to connect a Bluetooth headset to land line a by simply plugging the adapter into the line. If the user is using the Bluetooth Hi-Fi headphone and a call comes in, the sound can be switched automatically between sources. The Bluetooth Hi-Fi Headphone can be paired with a Bluetooth mobile phone at the same time and the user can answer calls from any of the two devices.

The company is also showing the iPhono, a Bluetooth Hi-Fi Sports headphone, that associated with its Bluetooth adapter for desktops and laptops allows for stereo hi-fi streaming. The headphones are also compatible with mobile phones, allowing the user to take calls while the music is playing. The company also promisses a Bluetooth MP3 player, similar in size to other devices in the market made by Apple and Philips.

I want...I want...saw the Flash movie on bluetake.com site. Its way cool especially the bluetooth MP3 player with the bluetooth headphone. This is the only reason I'm holding back on buying iPod mini.

Anyone knows when is it going to be available?
