Navman to launch Pocket PC with integrated GPS
The Navman PiN (Personal Interactive Navigation) combines GPS technology with Windows Mobile Pocket PC 2003 OS to deliver a cable-free navigation solution.

According to the company, the Navman PiN enables users to accurately navigate from door-to-door across 16 European countries with full turn-by-turn voice guidance in English, French or Italian. It comes bundled with Navman's SmartST Version 2 professional mapping software.

Users should benefit from full 3D colour map views, enhanced street level detail, automatic 'Back-on-track' re-routing and 'Avoid Areas' function. Navman promisses to provide an accuracy of 5 metres 95% of the time with Navman's integrated GPS Patch Antenna.

The new Pocket PC runs on Windows Mobile 2003 OS and comes with Navman SmartST Version 2 3D Mapping Software, discreet GPS Patch Antenna, 3.5" Colour Transflective LCD Display, Memory Card Expansion Slot, Lithium Ion Battery and USB port.
