Company indirectly confirms h6300 is coming
RF Integrated Corp. (RFIC) has announced that its 802.11b WLAN power amplifier - AP1092 was picked by HP and will be packaged with TI chipsets on HP's new h6300 (described here), the first consumer model Windows Mobile Pocket PC Phone Edition with three wireless technologies (GSM/GPRS, 802.11b Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 1.1) in one package.

According to the press release, this new HP Pocket PC will be released in U.S. soon. RFIC says its AP1092 is a linear, low current power amplifier in ISM band using InGaP/GaAs HBT process. RFIC also comments on an upgraded version of AP1092 to focus on increasing the overall efficiency for 11b/g, known as AP1098, an 802.11b/g WLAN PA.
