PocketDBA for Pocket PC
PocketDBA mobile software for database management enables administrators to increase productivity and improve responsiveness by providing secure, real-time access to any DB2 UDB, Oracle, SQL Server or Teradata database from any wireless device or Web browser.

With PocketDBA, organizations can meet service levels agreements, reduce response time and lower the cost of 24x7 database coverage. PocketDBA is built upon the XBanywhere mobile platform and offers far more than a snapshot of status information. With PocketDBA, administrators get inside the database to perform almost any task. PocketDBA also incorporates user-friendly graphs, charts and data input wizards to facilitate ease-of-use.

PocketDBA mobile solutions offer total control from any location:

  • Heterogeneity. Not limited to a single database type. PocketDBA allows you to connect to multiple IBM DB2 Universal Database, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server and Teradata databases and toggle among them.
  • "Load and go" installation. There are no agents to install on your databases and you can use a Web browser for access.
  • Real-time access. PocketDBA allows you to work live, directly in the databases and servers. All activity is in real-time, so there is no need for data synchronization.
  • Power and flexibility. No static screens representing your indexes, tables, and other database objects. PocketDBA operates by applying database management rules in context. This enables you to control the database from an intuitive graphic interface.
