Bluetooth FrogPad launch date announced
FrogPad says that its Bluetooth FrogPad has been in soft launch mode until now (pre-orders), with official global launch defined for 27 September. FrogPad is establishing offices in Japan, UK, Germany, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Australia, and have plans to be able to ship overnight to most countries. The current pre-order price of US$175 will continue until 1st October.

The pre-order units do not include all drivers, but if the user requires one of the new drivers, FrogPad will supply then via a special download code after 1st October.

The product will include drivers for Windows Mobile Pocket PC and Smartphone, Palm OS, Symbian and will work with HID compliant computers, including Mac OS. The company says they have plans to provide other Bluetooth drivers for Java and unified messaging devices in the future.

FrogPad is working towards being a company dedicated to Human Computer Interfaces, and its product roadmap includes the development of other designs for quite different verticals.
