QuoteMedia, Inc. has announced the launch of Quotestream Wireless for an additional 46 smartphones and wireless handhelds from palmOne, Nokia, Motorola, Siemens and Sony Ericsson. Models include:

  • palmOne: Treo 600, Treo 650, TapWave
  • Motorola: A1000, A630, A780, A845, C975, E1000, E398, E550, E680, RazrV3, V550, V80, V975, V300, V400, V500, V600, A830
  • Nokia: 3220, 3230, 5140, 6020, 6230, 6260, 6600, 6620, 6630, 6670, 7260, 7610
  • Sony Ericsson: P900, P910, F500i, K500, K508, K700, S700, V800, Z1010, Z500
  • Siemens: CX65, M65, S65

    Quotestream Wireless is a wireless market data application that includes such features as streaming delayed or real time market data, multiple streaming portfolios, detailed stock quotes, intraday and historical charts (bar, candlestick, line, mountain), corporate news and events, price and volume alerts, NASDAQ Level II data, time and sales, market indices and news, market commentaries, company lookups, tick trend indicators, integrated online trading links and more.

    The company says that with 1.5 billion wireless subscribers expected worldwide by the end of the year, industry analysts forecast the worldwide mobile phone market to surpass 595 million units shipped in 2004. Through 2008, the market will continue to expand until it reaches nearly an all-replacement sales scenario towards the end of the decade with over 800 million mobile phones shipping annually.

    Quotestream Wireless is compatible with most wireless service providers in the US and Canada, including AT&T Wireless, BELL, Nextel, Cingular, BellSouth, T-Mobile USA, Rogers Wireless Communications and Telus Mobility.
