The GN 6210 is a Bluetooth headset solution that works seamlessly with both an office and mobile phone, being designed especially for office professionals who require mobility inside and outside the office. GN Netcom is introducing this model during the International Consumer Electronics Show 2005 (CES).
The new model utilises GN Netcom’s GN Link technology, first used with the company's GN 6110 launched a year ago during the International Consumer Electronics Show 2004 (CES) (read our review of this model).
The GN 6210 uses a “behind-the-ear” form factor already popularized by GN Netcom’s JABRA FreeSpeak Bluetooth headset series. The headset is made of a soft, sound-absorbing elastomer material that reduces distortions, resulting in crisp sound quality. The earpiece and microphone boom fit behind either ear for a comfortable, secure fit. The earpiece also features the JABRA MiniGel. This soft, ergonomic gel tip channels sound directly into the user’s ear for better reception and improved ability to hear conversations clearly even in noisy environments.
The GN 6210 weighs only 23 grams/0.8 ounces and features a talk time of up to 8 hours, and a standby time of 240 hours. The headset features a Bluetooth standard range of 10 meters (30 feet) from its base.
The GN 6210, will list at US$249 and is available for purchase through GN Netcom’s network of authorized specialty, catalog and online resellers.
