T-Mobile Germany is announcing the release of two new Windows Mobile Smartphone models, during the CeBIT 2005, happening in Hannover, Germany.
The tri-band GSM/GPRS (900/1800/1900MHz, Class 10 GPRS) SDA II Smartphone measures 108 x 47 x 19,5 mm and weighs around 107g. Its 1050mAh rechargeable battery allows for 350 minutes of talk time. The 2.2" QVGA TFT LCD display can show up to 262,000 colours. It comes with 64 MB ROM, 32 MB RAM, expandable through mini SD cards. It run Windows Mobile Smartphone OS, including a viewer program for different file types (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat), e-mail client (pop3/IMAP4), MSN Messenger, Pocket Internet Explorer. Its media player can playback WMA, MP3, WAV, AMR Midi files. The Smartphone also comes with Bluetooth and IrDA and synchronises to Microsoft Outlook or Microsoft Exchange.
The SD II Music Smartphone (pictured) has the same specifications, with an additional 1.3 megapixel digital camera. It also comes with additional multimedia keys to control media playback.
Both models should be available in Germany from June 2005. Prices are not defined yet.
