4SmartPhone launches 4SmartConnect Global Partner Program
Posted on 15-Mar-2005 00:20. | Tags Filed under: News.

4SmartPhone has launched the 4SmartConnect Global Partner Program, providing channel partners with support and incentives to sell mobility services to the market. Synchronica Software, an European specialist in mobile synchronization and device management, is the first strategic alliance partner to join the program. Thoughts Media, Inc., owner of SmartPhoneThoughts.com and PocketPCThoughts.com, also joins the program, as an affiliate partner.

There are three program offerings designed for domestic and international partners seeking to deliver wireless email messaging to consumers, very small businesses (VSBs), small and medium business (SMBs), and select vertical markets:

  • Strategic Alliance Program: Tailored to a select group of global companies (including carriers, device manufacturers, ISVs, platform providers and service providers) that have a significant investment in and close business relationship with 4SmartPhone.

  • Reseller Partner Program: Focuses on resellers, device manufacturers, mobile carriers, and direct marketers looking to enhance their services revenue through resale or implementation of 4SmartPhone's service into the individual or small and medium business (SMB) market. With two program levels (Platinum and Gold), partners can choose the type and level of engagement that best fits their business model.

  • Affiliate Partner Program: Specifically designed to give companies with a customer-facing website the opportunity to receive commissions for selling/referring 4SmartPhone branded services.

In the partnership agreement with Synchronica, 4SmartPhone gains a license to Synchronica's SyncML Gateway for integration with the 4SmartPhone infrastructure, and Synchronica receives recurring revenues. Through its affiliate partnership with Thoughts Media Inc., 4SmartPhone gains visibility on two of the most praised Windows Mobile smartphone and PDA websites on the market, while Thoughts Media adds new revenue sources from any 4SmartPhone account referred through their sites.
