Product supports small and medium businesses with their own Microsoft Exchange Infrastructure with need for an always-on e-mail solution for Windows Mobile and Palm devices.
Good Technology, Inc. has expanded its support for small and medium enterprises with GoodLink Small Business Server (SBS) Edition. The company says this is a cost effective and simple alternative for small to medium enterprises who want to maintain their own Microsoft Exchange infrastructure.
The GoodLink standards-based wireless messaging and data access software and service provides mobile users with a two-way wirelessly synchronized connection to Microsoft Exchange Server (enterprise e-mail, contacts, calendar, notes and tasks) and other applications including CRM, ERP and SCM. GoodLink's architecture incorporates VeriSign AES end-to-end encryption of all e-mail, data and attachments in Microsoft Office, WordPerfect, HTML, PDF and RTF file formats. The platform includes synchronizing server software, security and application software for managing multiple networks and a variety of devices including the Palm OS-based Treo 600 (Palm OS) and Windows Mobile-based Pocket PC devices such as the Sprint PCS Vision Smart Device PPC 6600, HP iPAQ 6300, Samsung i700 and T- Mobile Pocket PC Phone Edition.
The GoodLink SBS Edition offers the same functionality of GoodLink 4.0 including Secure OTA management of smartphone applications, Global Connect, and an Outlook-like user interface. In addition, GoodLink SBS Edition can be deployed on the same server as Microsoft Exchange Small Business Server for cost effective management.
