Macromedia announces winners of Pocket PC Flash Contest
Applications in eight categories entered the competition showcasing the best of Flash applications for Windows Mobile. The Pocket PC Flash Contest was meant to challenge developers to see how fast and easy mobile development is with Macromedia Flash and to showcase the next generation of mobile applications.

A committee of Flash experts from the Mobile and Devices marketing, product management, and engineering teams at Macromedia judged the entries based on usability, presentation, functionality, and usefulness. One winner was chosen to showcase each of our eight categories and one grand prize winner was selected from the best of these entries.

The Grand Prize Winner is the application Temples of Taipei, deveoped by Charlie Tai. Category winners are Unplugged TV: The Chelsea Project (Most Innovative Use of Flash), Ng Met Lee (Best Animation), FlashAirlines (Best Business Application), History of Achaemenids (Best Educational Content), Der Vampier (Best Game), Temples of Taipei (Best Interactive Content), The Negotiator (Best Productivity Application) and ExlibPDA (Best Overall Use of Flash).
