The HTC Galaxy is not even released yet but French website Mobinaute.com is publishing an exclusive review of this new Windows Mobile device.
Running the new Windows Mobile 5.0, the HTC Galaxy comes with a built-in GPS based on the SiRFStar III chipset, a QVGA (320x240 pixels) 2.8 inch TFT QVGA. This new Pocket PC is powered by a Samsung S3C2440M CPU running at 300Mhz, and comes with 64MB Flash ROM and 32MB SDRAM.
Memory can be expanded through SD or MMC card, and the SD interface supports SD/IO. For wireless communications the HTC Galaxy comes with built-in Bluetooth and Wi-Fi (802.11b). The device is running the Microsoft Bluetooth software, part of Windows Mobile 5 release.
It measures 109.7mm x 59.4mm x 17.6mm and weighs 150g. The rechargeable Ion Lithium battery (1100 mAh) provides up to 5 hours of GPS use or 200 hours in standby.
