It is Saturday, 24 September (New Zealand time folks!), so it is time to start packing. Tomorrow I am off to San Francisco, where I will be attending the Smartphone Summit 2005, at the W Hotel (Monday, 26 September, PST). I will be meeting with lots of people while there, and it will be quite a busy day.
I am trying to arrange a seat for the Palm, Microsoft, Verizon Wireless press conference, which will be around the block from the Smartphone Summit, early on that same day - let's see if I am lucky.
I will not be able to attend the CTIA Wireless 2005 though, because I will be flying to Seattle to attend the Microsoft MVP Summit, but will be back in Santa Clara to attend the WiCon Americas 2005, an event covering all things wireless.
Of course I will try and report on anything interesting I see on these events. I have already some meetings arranged with product managers for some groups, so let's see what will be up next.
I am pretty sure all this will be fun, but 13 hours non-stop flying from Auckland (NZ) to San Francisco (US) is always a pain. Luckily we will get one of those new Air New Zealand planes with better seats arrangements (yes, I've got an upgrade to Business Class, but not free - thanks to my Air Points).
