Vital Engineering releases OBD-II Bluetooth Software for Windows Mobile Smartphone
Vital Engineering has made available its Bluetooth OBD-II connector software for use with Microsoft Windows Mobile Smartphones. The software was previously available for Windows Mobile Pocket PC and Palm OS handhelds.

Users have access to vehicle sensor information using a OBD Bluetooth transmitter without a cable. The information is transmitted to the Smartphone via Bluetooth.

The software can display live diagnostic sensor data, read diagnostic trouble codes and clear the "check engine" light. It can also upload live informatio to web sites.

The OBD-II Bluetooth transmitter can be purchased by itself, or with additional Bluetooth hardware if the PC or Pocket PC is not Bluetooth equipped. The company can provide a complete solution, including training and consulting services.
