In a couple of days I will be flying to Auckland to attend a couple of events there, including the Convergence Oceania 2005 on 25 November, promoted by the New Zealand Wireless Forum.

The agenda includes business seminars throughout the day, featuring keynote speakers:

9 am - Kevin Kenrick, General Manager, Mobile, Telecom New Zealand
10 am - David Crown, General Manager Business Innovations, Vodafone
11 am - Guy Mason, CIO, English, Welsh and Scottish Railway Ltd
12 pm - David Gee, Head of Marketing ANZ, Lucent Technologies
1 pm - Mike Donald, Managing Director, Terralink International
2 pm - Ted Matsumoto, Chairman, Qualcomm South East Asia/Pacific and Japan
3 pm - Industry panel

Then on 26 November we have our Geekzone Dinner 2005 Auckland (please RSVP on this thread), from 5pm. The venue is now confirmed to be The Bluestone Room.

I am also planning a visit to the CES 2006 (Consumer Electronics Show), happening in Las Vegas, 5-8 January 2006. If you are going to be there let me know and we might stop for a coffee, between all the activities we have planned there with our group.
