Leaving to 2006 International CES - Las Vegas
Posted on 2-Jan-2006 20:12 by M Freitas. | Tags Filed under: Blog.

In 24 hours I will be flying from Wellington to Auckland, then to Los Angeles and from there to Las Vegas, where I will be attending the 2006 International CES.

As part of the activities there I will be attending a special Microsoft session on Windows Vista, Media Center, Internet Explorer 7 and live.com. I am told now that the session will be under NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement), so I know I won't be able to post much about that one.

I will also be giving a hand in the Microsoft booth (Thusrday, 5 January from 11am) for a couple of hours (don't know yet what we will be doing there, but I was asked if I could help).

A few press events are part of the schedule: Lunch @ Piero's, ShowStoppers, Digital Experience Lunch and other cool stuff.

Currently I am printing all the emails I have received with confirmations - yes I will have this in my Tablet PC, on my Exchange Server, on my Pocket PC but it's always good to have a paper trail if anything fails, isn't it?

If all goes ok I will be flying out of Auckland 3 January and arriving in Las Vegas 3 January, checking into the Polo Towers.

Send me an e-mail if you are planning to visit the CES or exhibit there and will be available for a coffee.
