T-Mobile USA introduced video messaging services for T-Mobile customers to record and send full motion color video messages, including sound, from a wireless phone. For less than US$200 after rebate, consumers can now purchase the Nokia 3650 color videophone via T-Mobile’s Web site.
With the built-in video and audio recorder functionality of the Nokia 3650, users can capture moments with short videos and share them with friends and family. To use the feature, customers just record 10 seconds of action with the Nokia 3650, tap in an email address and hit send. Friends and family will receive it as an email attachment.
In addition to video messaging functionality, the Nokia 3650 can take and send photos to any email address.
"Combining the power of T-Mobile's national all digital, high-speed GSM/GPRS voice and data network with the unique feature set of the Nokia 3650 gives consumers the ability to communicate in ways never thought possible with friends and family across the country,” said Pekka Vartiainen, senior vice president and general manager of Nokia Mobile Phones, Americas.
