Developer of Windows Mobile software, Spb Software House has announced its 3rd Annual Spb Pocket PC Survey. Every year it helps to gather and process the information about the current Pocket PC community status and compare it to the previous survey results.
The first two surveys, conducted in 2004 and 2005, provided information about the whole Pocket PC community and had a great response, according to the company.
All survey participants will get a collection of five ringtones.
The Second Annual Pocket PC Survey conducted in 2005 uncovered important changes in the whole Pocket PC community. For example users reported having three times more Pocket PC Phone Edition devices than a year before.
On that same survey Spb Software House found out the HP iPAQ line lost almost a half of its market share in connection with the growing number of Dell Axim and Phone Edition devices.
About 85% of the users reported using their Pocket PCs to connect to the Internet, showing this trend as more important thing than games.
The survey will take place from 31st October to 4th November. This year the survey is available in English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese languages.
