CellChek is a freeware project protects children from cell phone dangers including text bullying, grooming by adults, access to internet chat rooms and access to inappropriate material on the phone's internet browser.

Mike Ward is developing CellChek and is asking for people to volunteer as Beta testers to help thoroughly test the product and help improve usability.

CellChek runs on Sybian S60 phones 2nd edition. The list of supported handsets includes Nokia (N72, N70, N90, 3230, 6260, 6600, 6620, 6630, 6670, 6680, 6681, 6682, 7610), Panasonic (X800, X700) and Samsung (SGH-Z600, SGH-D720, SGH-D730).

The software is free, runs on the child's phone and is controlled by a parent website account. Features include contact control, disabling internet access, reporting of calls and SMS, and time restrictions on phone use.
