Microsoft is hosting the Expression Around the Clock design conference on 4 October 2007. The event showcases the relationship between user experience and digital design and is an opportunity to learn about the latest Expression Studio design solutions from Microsoft.
Auckland will be the first city in the world to host the event, which takes place at the Hilton Hotel. Expression Around the Clock will feature a keynote presentation by August de los Reyes, creative director at Microsoft and researcher at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design.
Other presenters at Expression Around the Clock include Nigel Parker, Microsoft New Zealand web development advisor and Nas Khan from the ZamdDes User Group who will give an overview on designing with Expression Studio. The event will also feature an expert discussion on the role of design in the delivery of superior user experiences, featuring Steve Martin (Creative Director, Terabyte), Che Tamahori (Creative Director, Shift), Natasha Hall (Usability Consultant, Trade Me) and Desna Jury (Head of School of Art & Design, AUT)
The event is aimed at all web and graphic designers, design students, developers and IT professionals. Expression around the Clock (Auckland) will be held at the Hilton Hotel, Auckland.
