Hop-on, Inc. has introduces a new PDA phone for GSM and CDMA networks. The GSM/CDMA Dual Mode PDA 2001 model, complete with GPS capability is based on Windows Mobile 6 Professional.
Users can connect this phone to CDMA 2000 networsk and WCDMA/HSDPA networks (850/1900 and 2100 MHz).
The GSM/CDMA Dual Mode PDA 2001 has a full-color 2.8" 240 x 320 pixels touch screen, expanded battery life, gaming capabilities and a 3.0 megapixel camera for photos and video recording. It comes with 256 MB flash memory and 128 MB RAM. Memory can be expanded with microSD cards.
The company says this technology will appeal to consumers looking for a high-quality GPS, Bluetootha and Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g) enabled Pocket PC phone.
The phone lets users stay connected to e-mail, calendar, and contacts. Users can be productive reading and composing Microsoft Word Mobile files, make Microsoft Excel Mobile charts, and view Microsoft PowerPoint presentations.
The device measures 4.4 x 2.3 x 0.73 inches and the rechargeable battery can provide up to four hours talk time or eight days stand by.
