Back to School: Happy Together giveaway
Welcome to our Geekzone competition, part of the Back to School: Happy Together giveways, a promotion between 25 participating web sites, with the sponsorship of HP, Microsoft, and Timbuk2.

There are 25 prize packages to be won, one for each participating web site (Back to School: Happy Together giveways list) and you can enter in as many competitions you want - each has its own rules and dates so to maximise your chances to win visit each of the sites during the whole competition.

Prize package for the Geekzone winner:
- One HP dv6 laptop (Intel Core 2 Duo P7350, Windows Vista Ultimate 64 bit, 4GB RAM, 500GB SATA HDD, BluRay ROM SuperMulti with LightScribe, HP webcam, integrated fingerprint reader, WiFi 802.11 a/g/n, 16” display (1366x768 pixels), ATI Mobility Radeon HD4650 Graphics, Altec Lansing built-in speakers).

- One HP Mini 110 laptop (Intel Atom 270, Windows XP Home Edition SP3, 1GB RAM, 10.1” display (1024x576 pixels), 160GB SATA HDD, HP webcam, WiFi 802.11b/g, 6 cell battery).

- A customized Timbuk2 bag.

- Pre-installed Syncables software for hassle-free synchronization.

How to enter:
The competition on Geekzone runs from 13th August 2009 12am (NYC) through 17th August 2009 6pm (NYC).

These are the rules you should know about:

  • Entry is open to registered Geekzone users. You can register here.
  • Your personal information is not being sold or distributed to any other company and is used solely for communication between Geekzone and yourself. Please read our Privacy Policy for more information.
  • Users must fill the entry form to enter the answer to the skill question and any comments, and submit the information. Geekzone will receive your answer via e-mail.
  • Incomplete or incorrect answers will not be included in the draw.
  • Only one entry per user is allowed. All multiple entries will be removed from the pool. We record the IP address of all submissions.
  • No purchase is necessary to participate in this competition.
  • The competition on Geekzone runs from 13th August 2009 12am (NYC) through 17th August 2009 6pm (NYC).
  • A random draw will be conducted soon after 17th August 2009 6pm (NYC) and one entry will be selected.
  • The winner will be notified via e-mail. An e-mail reply to confirm the contact details will be requested.
  • The confirmation reply must be sent back in 48 hours otherwise another entry will be selected.
  • If the e-mail address is invalid (e-mail bounces) then another draw will be conducted.
  • If you win a prize bundle in one of the websites, then you can’t win again in the whole competition.
  • We will try to send you the prize bundle, but depending where you live customs and tax conditions may prevent this. In this case we will provide you with an equivalent credit on a HP online store.
