ViewSonic expands computing line with new PC mini series
ViewSonic is releasing its new PC mini series, with models PC mini 550, PC mini 530, PC mini 132 and PC mini 120. ViewSonic’s pint-sized, eco-friendly and cost-effective PC mini series offers a compact, power-saving solution to the bulky, noisy PC tower stereotype.

ViewSonic’s high performance model – the PC mini 550 – is equipped with the new Microsoft Windows 7 operating system, an Intel Core 2 Duo 2.2 GHz CPU processor and Centrino platform for a quieter, more energy efficient operation than traditional desktop PCs. The PC mini 550 boasts the highest amount of system memory which includes 4GB DDR2 and a 320GB hard drive. In addition, the prize piece in this powerful PC Mini is the built-in Blu-ray combo disc drive for playing full HD 1080p video.

The small 1.3L PC mini 530 (pictured) supports Windows MCE and includes a full featured remote control, making it ideal for connection to a home entertainment system with a big screen LCD TV or for serving as a multi-channel surround sound system via a SPDIF terminal.

Designed for general family and personal use, the PC mini 132 weighs just 0.45kg and is only 0.6L in size – 50% of the surface area of an A4 sheet of paper. The PC mini 132 also includes Microsoft Windows 7 operating system, a dual core Atom 330 processor and 2G SDRAM. An optional VDD100-DVD super multi recordable DVD drive is also available. Graphics performance experience is enhanced with the latest nVIDIA ION video chip making the PC mini 132 an excellent solution for HD games and multimedia entertainment with smooth HD display quality.

The PC mini 120 was designed to address the needs of SMB and SOHO that require simple operation, easy maintenance, space-saving design and power-saving features. It comes in a tiny box of only 0.6L and weighs in at 0.55kg – so light it can be carried around the house and connected to any monitor that meets the user’s need. The PC mini 120 comes with Microsoft Windows XP operating system, 1GB DDR2 memory, 160GB SATA hard drive and offers multiple connectivity options with four USB ports for flexibility.
