New Zealand telecommunications provider CallPlus has launched its Managed Wide Area Network (WAN) solution to complement its range of SIP and IP based services, and offer New Zealand businesses an alternative to current providers.
CallPlus’ Managed WAN is a dedicated, high performance, cost effective solution developed specifically for medium and large sized businesses with multiple sites. A Managed WAN provides fast and cost effective data transfer between sites, while the network’s infrastructure is managed externally by CallPlus.
Kelvin Hussey, General Manager CallPlus, says the company is committed to providing its customers with innovative technology that makes conducting their business straightforward.
“CallPlus develops its products and services with the aim of making things easy for New Zealand businesses. Managed WAN in conjunction with SIP Trunking is a major step forward in terms of technology as it allows true convergence of voice and data networking, while keeping these components completely separate within the Managed WAN environment,” says Hussey.
Convergence of lines and Ethernet circuits allows for cost savings, scale and flexibility for New Zealand businesses. It also provides redundancy options with smaller sites being able to leverage the head office PABX functionality while also enabling free extension dialling between sites.
The Managed WAN service allows customers further flexibility in that they are able to scale their bandwidth capacity in line with the demands of their business. CallPlus is on hand 24/7 to provide network support and customers can select the support model that best suits their needs.
