CallPlus caters to small businesses with Connect Lite
Posted on 19-Jan-2011 16:00. | Tags Filed under: News.

Following the recent successful launch of CallPlus’ Managed WAN service, the Kiwi owned telecommunications provider has added to its list of client offerings with a managed voice solution for small businesses – Connect Lite.

Connect Lite enables small businesses access to the latest premium technologies without a significant upfront investment, as well as lower calling costs and ongoing support.

Kelvin Hussey, General Manger of CallPlus, says the company has taken the technology, which has previously only been accessible to larger organisations, and developed it exclusively for small businesses.

“With SMEs forming the majority of New Zealand businesses, it made sense to develop a product specifically for them,” says Hussey. “Connect Lite is a PABX replacement allowing businesses without in-house IT support access to a cost effective and feature rich telecommunications system with round the clock monitoring. It also allows businesses direct control over administrative tasks that previously would have been logged with a service provider.

With CallPlus Connect Lite, customers receive a business bundle consisting of premium VoIP feature rich desk phones, Internet, WiFi and Local Area Network. The service is managed 24/7 by CallPlus technicians.

This cost effective service has an easy cost structure based on a per-phone, per-month fee that is scalable to fit seasonal requirements of the business. Additionally, it allows customers to have a dependable fixed cost that allows them to forecast their expenditure.

CallPlus was established in 1996 and has played a pivotal role in bringing innovation, pricing simplicity and value to New Zealand businesses. Connect Lite builds on CallPlus’ hosted voice expertise, having launched Commverge in 2001.
