Yellow becomes Google AdWords Partner
Posted on 6-Nov-2011 09:28. | Tags Filed under: News.

Yellow has become a Google AdWords Premier SME Partner in New Zealand after it signed a deal with the global technology company this week.

Yellow CEO Scott Pomeroy says the deal further cements Yellow's digital capability which is central to the company’s new strategic direction.

“This partnership significantly enhances our suite of digital marketing products and services and completes a significant cross-section of solutions Yellow provides a business to effectively market itself. It complements a wide range of solutions including Yellow Website, Yellow Video, Yellow search network and social media products all launched this year, adding to other tools available to our customers.

“Yellow’s small business customers now have additional capability to extend their digital marketing efforts and generate more business through simple and effective access to the millions of Kiwis who use Google each month.

"Yellow is the only company in New Zealand that can offer as comprehensive a range of marketing services to small businesses. Add New Zealand's second largest sales force and we have an unparalleled ability to ensure our customers can be in front of their customers anyhow, anywhere, anytime," says Mr Pomeroy.

He says Yellow is already one of Google’s largest New Zealand commercial relationships and has significant expertise in AdWords. It currently has a select group of customers already using the service and will soon be rolling it out more widely.

“Small business owners have told us they are very interested in establishing a Google Adwords account but don't have the digital expertise to do it on their own. This deal allows Yellow to manage the entire process of setting up a Google AdWords campaign for businesses, including sales expertise and programme recommendation, monthly email reporting of results and ongoing support."
