Acclipse and BankLink announce launch of iBizz
Posted on 12-Mar-2012 14:19. | Tags Filed under: News.

Acclipse and BankLink have joined forces to announce the launch of iBizz; a new online business accounting solution, which reduces the burden of bookkeeping by providing secure and accurate daily data online to both accountants and their business clients eliminating the need for manual bank reconciliation, paper print outs and large file transfers.

Acclipse, which develops and maintains cloud accounting software for accounting practices will be launching iBizz later this year, and is collaborating with BankLink, the leading data aggregator to the accounting industry across Australia and New Zealand to supply the data.

iBizz combines the strengths of Acclipse and BankLink to provide the accountant and their business clients with a simple, secure and accurate online experience and will be available via accountants rather than direct to end-users. It will be perfect for those clients, where the accountant is confident they are able to manage more of the accounting process themselves as they have the time, skill and desire to do their own bookwork.

All data will be fed via BankLink’s secure, direct feeds from over 100 financial institutions, which means the process and reliability of receiving the data will be the same for new iBizz users as it is for BankLink’s existing 250,000+ business clients.

Using iBizz will mean the data will always be there, on time and accurately delivered and the accountant and their clients will be able to collaborate by being able to view and work on the same data online. The accountants and their clients can focus on conversations that will take businesses forward, rather than administrative matters. It will also enable insightful reporting into business performance, to improve the accuracy of tracking key KPIs for business growth.

Acclipse CEO Mike Chisholm, said, “iBizz will be offered exclusively through accounting practices because, as the trusted advisor, we believe they are best qualified to work with their clients to choose the most appropriate solution for them.”

“We are excited to be working with BankLink, as both companies believe that technology is a fantastic enabler, but accountants are an important advisor in ensuring the success of a business. For iBizz to be successful we saw the need for secure, accurate and reliable data and BankLink was the only choice for us.”

Online software adoption is on the rise amongst business owners as it allows them to work online, from anywhere, including mobile devices. iBizz will be available to accountants at a game-changing price that provides exceptional value and will allow their clients to experience the productivity benefits the internet provides.
