Businesses boost productivity with HP Print Apps
HP today launched two new applications in Australia and New Zealand, expanding its portfolio of Print Apps to help businesses increase productivity.

In partnership with Shoeboxed, the Scan Receipt and Biz Card applications easily solve day-to-day office tasks and provide businesses with greater efficiencies to streamline productivity at no additional cost with HPís web-connected printers.

With the Shoeboxed Scan Receipt app, HP enables customers to keep track of business spending by quickly and easily scanning receipts. The app exports, verifies and organises the receipt data online, where it is saved and ready for reporting.

Founded in 2007, Shoeboxed specialises in the scanning, data extraction and organisation of receipts, business cards, bills and other documents. Shoeboxed accepts documents through their prepaid mail-in service, by e-mail, with one of their free uploaders or from one of their Android, iPhone or iPad apps. Once the important information is extracted and verified, users have access to a secure, online archive of data that makes accounting, bookkeeping, tax return preparation, expense reporting, and contact management easier.

The Shoeboxed Biz Card app enables HP customers to quickly scan several business cards at a time to their contact database. All the information on the card is verified, organised and automatically saved into appropriate fields in the userís online contact list. Information can be exported to Evernote, Google Contacts, Yahoo Contacts and other contact databases for added convenience.
