TheInsider app shows where to get better specials in Wellington
TheInsider is an iPhone application which allows users to locate happy hours, 2 for 1 nights and other similar specials in Wellington bars, cafes and restaurants. TheInsider was launched on Friday 3 August 2012 on the Apple App Store and has already had 500 downloads.

The app was developed by Wiretapp Labs - a 50/50 partnership between developers Niko Croskery and Jacob Duncan. Both attended Tauranga Boys' College together before Niko headed to Wellington to study Law, while Jacob headed to Dunedin to study Software Engineering. The pair met again after university and TheInsider is their first venture since.

The duo have spent a lot of time developing TheInsider with a focus on the accuracy and quality of its content, and have worked hard to develop an easy to use and intuitive user interface.

Wiretapp Labs are looking at expanding the app to cover other cities around New Zealand as soon as possible and also planning to launch an Android version before the end of the year.

TheInsider is free to download by searching “TheInsider” on the app store.
