Internet speeds & now it works!

, posted: 4-Dec-2006 11:11

The switch to orcon happened on Friday, so I have usable internet again.

I've spent the weekend doing a bunch of uploads that just didn't work before.  They were snappy as they should have been.

My modem reports a downstream speed of ~2Mb and upstream of 415kb.  I know that doesn't necessarily reflect what the performance really is, but it is noticably faster than before and things just work (as they should!).

The world is a happy place again!

So that we can compare apples with oranges what Orcon plan did you go for?

Yup, I went onto the Pro Max unlimited speed plan and added 15Gb of data to it.  Speed should be the same, but the limit is bigger.

Realistically, the speed is much better and the internet connection just works.
