More "quality* TV from Sky. I think it's time to start watching paint dry.

You know what else is good. Watching your screensaver hoping for the object to land directly in the corner of the screen.

That's most likely why the price just went up..

Compulsory no it isn't but if they are going to add new channels to their "limited" available bandwidth surely there are many vastly superior choices out there to enhance the customer experience.

Guess this is what happened to the idea of turning TVNZ7 into a shopping channel....

This is beyond a joke. They collect more revenue from a ad channel that only eats up more of the bandwidth pool, further degrading the channels their customers pay good money for, and then they go and increase the monthly subs?

They'll only do it as long as customers keep paying good money for it. As far as they are concerned, so far, so good.

When Sky start charging for actual hours of viewing I might consider it, until then - theres never been enough quality content to justify it... Free to air is not much better but hey its free!!!

Shush! Quiet! If TVNZ gets word of this they will probably try to extort NZ on Air funding to make a locally produced screensaver image for prime time viewing, interrupted only by screaming Harvey Normal ads.

Actually, while I jest, it would probably be somewhat better than most of the programming they do put out!

So they ditched the TVSN channel a few years back only to now decide we need a new dedicated shopping channel.

The ditched FTV and brought it back and ditched it again even though it still shows in the "keeping up with all the latest fashion trends" ad

Careful that they don't start a dedicated "Coronation Street" channel, imagine the grey-power uproad if they ever took that off air
