This 'old' remote is dead. Which remote can replace this? I was hoping to get one from sky but they are not selling one from the website... Help?

ring up sky say your remote has stopped working , they will send you another one, charge your account and you send the remote back in the envelope provided if it wasn't your fault they will remove the charge

I had a button stuck on a remote. Couldn't free it.

Just walked into their office, as they have one where I am, they confirmed button stuck and just pulled another one out of a draw and gave it to me, no charge or anything.

Sounds like there's an office where you are, from what others have said.

Our remote looked exactly like that walked in to the sky office and they just pulled out a new one from the draw no charge, there were even batteries in it

Are all remotes that look like that compatible? When we swapped out an old Pace 600 decoder the guy did not want to recover the remote, just the decoder.

All the same, and actually not the OEM remote for that STB. Sky owns and insures the equipment, if it is faulty then they replace it at no charge (i.e. if it is not just a flat battery).

Do you know if the oem version has more features available? Note - I don't actually have sky, but like the idea of hidden features becoming accessible...

Can't remember what the OEM remote looks like, think it was much more like the MySky remote (or maybe the same). Just Google the STB model number to find the Pace OEM user manual.
